When I decided I wanted to make my own baby food, I knew I wanted to keep it simple. Not only is this easy peach baby puree a simple recipe to make, it was a hit with both of my kids! I liked making bigger batches and freezing them so I always had some on hand. I froze it in 2 ounce cubes using my silicone molds to have it already portioned out. (This article I wrote is more of a step by step on how to store baby food.) It was great to have when I would try something new with my kids and on the rare occasion they didn’t like what they were trying, I’d warm up a couple cubes of these to give them a full meal.

How To Make Peach Puree Baby Food
All this recipe takes is a 16 oz bag of frozen peach slices (which can be found at most grocery stores) and some water. I love using frozen peaches because prepping peaches can be a hassle. They are also available year-round this way!
I start by pouring the bag of frozen peaches into a saucepan and adding about a cup of water. Simmer on low to medium heat, just until the peaches are nice and soft, usually between 10-15 minutes. Once they are soft, I let them cool a bit before putting them into a blender. I them until smooth and use the remaining liquid from the saucepan to add to the blender a little at a time until I reach the consistency I want.
This peach baby puree is also a great base for other baby friendly recipes as they get older. It can be easily mixed with other fruits or veggies once your baby is ready. I also like to add a little bit of cinnamon or nutmeg into the peach puree, my kids really seemed to enjoy it that way. You can also blend in oats, or add in some yogurt.
